If you don

If you don't like tractors...

...sorry, we can't be pals.

Greetings, Ciderling!

Ever had a hobby that… sort of got out of control? That’s how we ended up with a cidery. There’s something really special about people getting together and bonding over a shared passion. It’s why our tagline is “made with enthusiasm”.

🚜 Vehicular news

“Vehicular” is a fun word to say. Did you know you can book group tours of the cidery, complete with talks and tastings? Here’s a prime example of bonding over a shared passion...We recently had no fewer than thirty-five vintage tractors of all shapes and sizes down at the farm. Thanks South Eastern Vintage Agricultural Club for chuntering along to see us.

Everyone loves a tractor! There's something about them that makes you feel like a kid again. Even as a (grudging) grown-up, you feel so high up when you sit in them.

Got a vehicular hobby? We’d love to hear all about it.

🌳🍏 Pick and mix

Another time we feel like children again is on our apple picking days. The first one’s only about a month away now. We get together and suck up the fresh air. Chatting all day long, mixing and mingling with pals old and new, climbing trees and having stick sword fights.

All with due care and attention to health and safety… honest, guv. Come along. Relive your youth, and get your own youths off screens for a day.

🤞🏻 Awardy news (how green can you go?)

We’ve been shortlisted in the Uckfield Business Awards in the Best Green Business Category. Hooray! We try to minimise our impact on this ol’ rock we all call home.

Here’s just a couple of ways…

☀️ Solar panels on the workshop
🌊 Hydra press uses a solar powered pump found on a building site to pump the water to squeeze the apple juice
🗺️ We use local providers wherever possible
🍏 Pommace (aka the apple guts waste) is fed to livestock

You can read more about our efforts on our sustainability page. We’re pretty green already (as evidenced below) but we’re always keen to do better. If you have any eco suggestions, we’re all ears.

And just a reminder it’s Tap Night time again on 6th September. What better way to mark the end of the Summer hols, eh?

Cheers!
