Hello from slightly sweaty Sussex

Hello from slightly sweaty Sussex

🍻 we’re all about community here 🍻

Greetings, Ciderling!

🥵 SUMMER (officially)

And don’t we know it? We had a marvellous time at our Tap Night on Friday. With everything that’s going on in the world, there’s nothing quite like gathering for some delicious food, brilliant live music and (of course) cider.

The word “community” gets bandied around a lot, but it really is our main driver in this cidery business. It certainly wasn’t money for the first few years, when we had to fund the project with our own extra cash!

It makes us very happy to bring people together, maybe facilitate some new friendships and provide a warm, relaxed environment for old pals to catch up. Lovely stuff.

You can expect more of the same at our next Tap Night in September, but before that we’ve got our tenth birthday celebrations coming up. It’s our Waking The Cider Festival on Saturday 19th July, 12 noon - 11pm in Framfield, Sussex. You can get your tickets now for £30, with multi-buy discounts and camping spots available. Expect lots more reminders and event details in the next few weeks. We’re ever so excited for it.

🌿 Shrub

And in case you missed it, we’ve launched our new non-alcoholic botanical aperitivo, Shrub. And as a limited launch special offer, we’re offering 10% off the first 100 bottles!

🎟️ The prize draw

As a trusty Ciderling, you’re automatically entered into our prize draw. This month’s prize is a bottle of Shrub. To show that we aren’t just making it all up for larks, here are some previous winners. They’re actual real human people.

“Huzzahs!” go to Emma Kauffman, Heather Trevor-Jones, Helen and Sean Burns and Susie Baldock who’ve all recently won Bignose & Beardy treasure!
