Description

1930 -2200 on Saturday 23rd March 2024

Come and join us in warmth and comfort for an evening of tall tales, with locally made cider and cheese!

We'll be hosting you at Tyler's Ground farm shop and cafe at The Dower House Farm in Blackboys. Sitting in comfort and surrounded by produce grown at the farm, we'll sample a range of ciders including some of our rarest and not publicly available batches.

Between sips we'll taste from the full range of cheeses produced by the Traditional Cheese Dairy in Horam. We'll experiment with different pairings and explore how the cheeses and ciders complement each other in different ways.

Throughout the evening we'll answer your questions, share the stories of Bignose & Beardy, the Traditional Cheese Dairy and Tyler's Ground and explain the processes used to make both cider and cheese, which have some surprising things in common.

We will also have live music from folk band Ceol Na Mara.

join us for a friendly evening of fun, learning and deliciousness!

There are two ticket options - general entry and entry with a take home box. The take home box includes a selection of five cheese and five ciders, that's an extra cheese and an extra cider than in our normal tasting hamper - for the same price! Collect at the event and enjoy at your leisure.

If you can't make the date and want to join in, why not buy our Cheese and Cider Tasting Hamper which is now supported by taste along videos.

This event is not suitable for children or dogs.
