Cider + Craft Festival
Last year's 10th Birthday festvival went so well, we decided to do it again!
Waking the Cider is giant all-day tap-night with 11 hours of live music, the best local food producers, loads of artist-led craft activities (for grown-ups) and our biggest selection of real Sussex ciders to taste.
Join us in our tranquil rural orchard at the Cidery for a day of music, making, eating, drinking, chatting and community celebration, maybe even dancing in the moonlight...
We'll be Waking the Cider in grand style!
Waking the Cider was a thing we originally started in our first year - a big party for friends to try the batches pressed the previous autumn.
Bring your friends, bring a blanket or a chair, get a cider and make the most of a summer day in the beautiful East Sussex countryside. Make a weekend of it and grab one of the very few camping tickets to access our exclusive camping field (includes festival ticket, children camp at no extra cost).
What you can expect:
- Loads of Local bands
- Food vans - in 2025 we had Pizza, Nepalese, Mexican
- Free Artist led craft activities - things like Printing, Lantern Making, Pottery, Basket Weaving, Open fire baking
- Actual proper toilets (we are resting the bath and ducks)
- Plenty of parking - though walk if you can
Get a group together and take advantage of our multibuy discounts. Tickets are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
There are limited numbers of Super Early Bird tickets available until Jan 31st. After that, Early Bird tickets will be available until April 30th.
The Cidery is at: Upper Brookhouse Farmhouse, Brookhouse Lane, Framfield, TN22 5QJ.
Our What/Three/Words location is: acute.fermented.begin.
(Please note - unfortunately no dogs at this event)
Parking is in the lower field accessed via a temporary gate from Brookhouse Lane (not the main entrance for the Cidery).
Ticket Information
All the event details are given on this page.
You will be able to access your tickets via the link in the order confirmation email sent to you, and from the order confirmation page.
You can save tickets to your device wallet, print off a copy or just show us the QR code on your device when you arrive. You can forward your ticket on to other guests too.
We also have your details on our list so we can register you on arrival without a QR code - don't worry if you can't print it off or have no signal when you arrive, just tell us your name.
Event Refund Information
We will issue a refund for event tickets on request up to one week before an event. After that it is hard for us to resell a ticket and we may already have incurred expenses on your behalf.
Refunds will be for the full amount minus the ticketing fee we will have paid for each ticket (£1 per ticket) and a £5 admin fee.
Ideally we'd prefer to reschedule your ticket to another date or event where an equivalent is available, there is no fee for this.
Local Accommodation Options
Obviously, not everyone lives near us. If you are tempted to visit us or join one of our events and you don't live locally, why not make a trip of it?
