Last chance to join the cool kids…

And become a cidermaker 😎

Greetings, Ciderling

🍏 Come and learn to make cider this Saturday 🍏

It’s just a fact that hobbies are incredibly cool and sexy. No, really. While AI is turning everything the same shade of beige online, how we spend our spare time offline becomes more and more important. So swap a weekend of indoor doomscrolling for a proper outdoorsy hobby that’s proven to make you 17%* less boring.

Imagine how impressed people will be next time you do that thing where you go around the circle and share an interesting fact about yourself, and you get to go “actually, I make cider in my spare time”...

Learn all the ins and outs of how we wild ferment our cider on From Branch To Bottle this Saturday October 17th, 10am - 4pm. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about how to make cider and send you off with 20L of juice to take home and turn into the good stuff.

We had this lovely feedback from Jeff, who came to our September FBTB course, “You did a great job. Your complimentary and understated characters, patience and openness made it very accommodating for a group of beginners. Well done.”

Cheers, Jeff :)

Tickets are £175 (with mates rates when you bring a pal) - book your place today

🎁 Eyes on the prize…

In our next email, we’ll tell you how to enter our prize draw for a whopping £272 worth of Bignose & Beardy swag. It contains pretty much everything we offer, so if you’re rolling in cash and can’t wait to win, why not just do a trolley dash around our website and buy it all anyway?

🍻 Wassail - Saturday 16th January 2027, 4 - 6pm

We’ve squished our last apple of 2026. The juice is all tanked up ready to ferment into cider. So it’s time for us to ramp up the planning of our Wassail. If you’ve not been before, the Wassail is an excuse to have a jolly good knees up, in the bleak midwinter.

We get together, light some fires, stomp around the farm banging pots and pans, and generally have a lovely time. Our excuse is the long-held tradition of Wassailing, where we perform a ceremony to ward off evil spirits and bless the apple trees for a healthy harvest in the Autumn. Fat lot of good it did this year, but nevermind eh.

Tickets are £26.50 including a pack of six bottles of cider to take home with you. It’s on Saturday January 16th 2027 4-7pm. We recommend you get your tickets pronto - last year we sold out! Get yours right here.

🍻 Waking the Cider - Saturday 26th June 2027, midday - 11pm

A bit further ahead into the future, our Waking the Cider is our big summer shindig. It’s on Saturday 26th June 2027 and earlybird adult tickets are £30. Cider, food, crafts, and even camping if you like. Get your tickets here.

🪚 Pruning course - Saturday 6th February 2027, 10am - 2pm

And if you want to learn how to lop and chop the branches of your apple trees (or you just like h

aving a day outdoors with tools) our pruning course is open for bookings. We provide cake, teas, coffees, lunch, and everything you need to know about why, how, where and when to prune your apple trees. Definitely fits under the “what to buy the person who has everything” category.
