Somehow, we’re already a week into December.
It’s such an old-person thing to say isn’t it, “ooh time’s speeding up, the year’s gone so fast!” but it makes sense it feels that way to us.
When you’re 10, a year is 10% of your entire life to date. A sizeable chunk. No wonder it feels AGES to wait for Christmas and birthdays to come around. By the time you’re 50, a year is only 2% of your entire life to date. A wafer-thin sliver. So, the big annual events feel like they come around really quickly.
That’s why (at the risk of going all mushy on you) it’s important to celebrate these milestones. Otherwise we can get a bit bah-humbug about it all.

We’re heading full-tilt into Wassail planning. Hope you can join us on Saturday 18th January 4 - 7pm, it’s a family affair. We’ll be warding off the evil spirits by making lots of noise. Among other things. Like cider and brandy tasting, some crafts and food, all in the warm glow of fire, FIRE, FIRE! 🔥
