A Ciderling EXCLUSIVE 🍏

Get your Oaked Spirit. Before the commoners do!
Greetings, Ciderling!
The first rush of our new Oaked Spirit of Cider has gone out of the door. And it’s a limited edition, Ciderling exclusive! Only you gorgeous, intelligent, kind, nice-smelling email subscribers can buy it. FOR NOW.

From 1st November, our Oaked Spirit of Cider will be available to the masses. Then, literally any Rando Randomson from Randomsville can get their stinking mitts on it. We don’t want that - we want it to go to you, our loyal subscribers who believed in us when no-one else did! Sorry, got a bit “awards speech” there.
Early reviews are in, with one customer describing it as “unlike anything I’ve tasted, in a good way!”
Our Oaked Spirit of Cider is made by hand, using Sussex cider and Sussex oak. Here’s a quick explainer of how we (and our pals at Spirit of the Downs) made it…
🍏 apple juice become cider through years of fermentation
🍺 cider gets distilled, repeatedly
💧 the distilled cider slowly becomes a clear spirit ~40% ABV
🌳 oak shavings give the spirit an incredible colour and a rich, oaky smoky flavour
Nothing can compare to this tipple because it’s a true Sussex one-off. Here’s what to expect…
The oaky notes are present the moment you open the bottle. The tannins have softened the spirit while retaining its smoothness. They’ve also imparted a long finish, so as well as the initial apple notes you now get warm wood tones and a full mouth feel. This is a unique drink, surprisingly smooth, and is packed with flavour just like the Calvados we’re not allowed to call it. Perfect for winter evenings and slow gentle contemplation: it will definitely warm the coldest of cockles.
Look, ma! We’re famous!
Local and localish Ciderlings, did you spot us on the telly? Bignose aka Phil spoke with BBC South East about how we had to close the apple appeal halfway through because of the bumper apple crop this year.

Doesn’t he look dapper in his Peter Christian outfit? Reminder, FDBNB25 will get you free delivery on the Peter Christian website.
Cheers!
